I hadn't opened Publisher today (!), as I received a sample print of the book from the printers and was checking every page carefully, mostly for print quality and colour as I hope that I trapped all typos at an earlier stage. After completing a document I went back to some spots to insert endnotes on certain pages the endnotes start renumbering at 1 and are inserted in the middle of the document. The latest example has been reported many times over the past months: They decided to put a space in front of the apostrophe because in their regional language, the apostrophe is used for quotes. As a result, it is now impossible to write directly in the Affinity suite since the apostrophe is used in French and other languages only for elision, and is very common.
