AgileMktg Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Okay, so I re-created a 6 page doc in AffPub. The original was a 5 page doc in PagePlus. I exported the 5 pager as an X-1a PDF, then I used NXPowerLite 8 to shrink the size of the original PDF. It went from 8.1 MB down to 753k. I exported the 6 pager from AffPub. The first time I did it, AffPub didn't give me any choices for output. It created a 16+ mb file, which would not compress. The 2nd time I went in to export, a dialogue box showed up. I chose X-1a. That time it created a 4+ mb file, which I successfully shrank to 790k. I'm glad the options showed up the 2nd time, but just because I'm curious, what would it have chosen to make a 16 mb file that wouldn't compress?
