Pages Window Width

Recommended Posts

You can change the width of the panel by dragging on the divider separating it from the workspace, but there is a minimum width it will not go below. That minimum is probably wider than it needs to be, so they can probably adjust that in a future beta.

An alternative that might work for you is to drag the name of one of the Studio panels to the right into the workspace until it floats, & then drag the name of the other one into the name area of the floating one, so you have a floating panel with both Studios in it. This can be positioned anywhere convenient on the screen. It will still have a minimum width, but you can double-click on the name of either Studio to 'roll up' the panel to just the name header to get it out of the way. To access it again just single-click on either name & it will expand to its previous size.

Yet another alternative is to assign a keyboard shortcut to layout > View > Studio > Show Left Studio. As shown, I use the ` key for that because it is otherwise unused & on my US English keyboards it is just below the Escape key:

This keyboard shortcut is a toggle so you can quickly hide or show everything you put in the left Studio just by tapping the key.
