Actually I'd prefer not to be specifying measurements at all....What I'd really like is the equivalent of InDesign's very simple and effective "Layout Guides", which effortlessly allows you to mark up a page with "x" rows, and "y" columns with "z" gutter, and gives you the option of doing this either from the edges of the page or within page margins.
