pixelworker
Just a emotional thing, I find all the tool icons (like brush, ....) in affinity looks a bit dated. I would really enjoy an makeover in this regard. It just doesn't look like a cutting edge design program for me, even though it is one. RNKLN
Sorry, don't agree. I find them quite nice. Fritz_H
I agree that they may look a bit childish (?). Far more of an issue is that some of them look too similar, I think. But in general: If the same manpower may be used either for new icons OR for bug-fixing I will opt for the latter. kind regards Fritz USD and PaulEC
Jowday
Problem solved - neutral icons, you don't see them. Back to focused creating. 🙂 👍 Cuando 1 Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface." Its not (just) the color - its the Design - some of them are not clear enough, some of them too similar to others, and they are not available in different sizes.. kind regards Fritz Cuando and hosoi_h

mackleys
I will admit (and may be in the minority) that I don’t not want fun or engaging icons. I want neutral looking icons so that I focus on what I am designing/creating—not the UI of the app. This is why I like the monochrome option. The issue for me is many of the icons look rather similar when monochromatic so a refresh with more unique shapes would help me out.
