iMatt
Just noticed files created in Affinity Designer now have the Publisher icon attached to them. Does not harm functionality as they still open in Designer.
Staff Chris B Posted August 31, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 31, 2018 Hey iMatt, I'm not seeing that here. What happens when you close the app after saving the file? It should rever to a thumbnail of the project and not the program icon How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
iMatt
I can still see the thumbnail. So no problem there. It's the fact that the thumbnails of projects created in Designer have the Publisher icon attached to the bottom right-hand corner rather than the Designer one. iMatt
I wonder if it's because I opened up a Designer file in Publisher and Windows has assigned Designer file types to Publisher?
Chris_K
This may be the case. Windows can sometimes re-assign default app on a whim. You can change the default back to Designer and it should be fine. The af format is interchangeable between all our apps so they will (from 1.7) all be able to handle them regardless of which app it came from Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
