The next big step.

Recommended Posts

I hope that publisher can soon make other DTP software obsolete but I also wish that in another big step FrameMaker and TeX can become redundant. That would be really revolutionary!

Would be ideal if has publisher from the ground up, the potential for large structured scientific and technical documents. This also includes mathematical and chemical formulas as well as directory functions including content, sources, index, cross-references, hyperlinks, structure, various auto-numbering and auto-text as well as the text adjustment a la TeX.

The range of the application would be significantly increased if scientific-technical publications can cover the scope of scientific education, research, development and technical documentation.

Maybe that's too much for publishers. Then maybe plug-ins or expansion modules would be useful or another new software? The intersection with "Publisher" would would then be quite large.

@Uwe_F

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I can see that many people would want this level of text manipulation.
