nikchem
I think it would be nice to see it somewhere in future releases. Is it already in the "to-do list" of the development team ? stmartin
Paradise33
+1 for this - a very useful feature
Dave Harris
It is to-do, but not for 1.7.

etageneuf
Come on αℓƒяє∂ ... Have a layer with your table cells, and an other below containing assets, images or so ... That's it, or i did not understand the purpose ?
highab
+1 for this idea, and extend the idea to any object. Yes, I'd definitely like to be able to put everything and anything inside a table cell... image, object, group, text layer (with style, outline and drop shadow) and even embedded documents). In answer to etageneuf, yes that is a workaround, but when we're creating fancy tables that are likely to change quite often the ability to just add rows or tweak the table and not have to manually change the alignment and position and size etc of the images/objects/embedded documents would be great. edesigned
etageneuf
But ... while doing this, you need so to play with images resolutions. It should come with surprises for offset prints.
highab
Not a problem for me since I'm talking vector objects and alignment or reduction in size because I'm adding lines
CheekyMouse
+1 for this one, I often use vector icons in header rows of table cells.
