Heading across multiple columns (span columns)

Recommended Posts

Is it possible, or will it be possible to have a heading stretched across two or more columns within the same text box, ie not as a separate text box placed above the columns?

@ecca

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

I do no think you can do this with the current columns, no.

Thanks for the reply, Patrick. Hopefully it's something for the (near) future.

I'll be playing around with the beta on the weekend and undoubtedly will have more questions, especially relating to long doc work which we currently do in indesign. I know you guys have put a hell of a lot of work into this beta and it's not fair to expect it to already have all the fabulous functions of indesign but at a fraction of the price. I and many others have been holding our breath for so long now for a decent alternative to indesign that the excitement of your new app might get the better of us at times, as is evident in some of the posts in the Publisher beta threads.
