Support for Indic Complex Scripts

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I work a lot with Indic Complex Scripts such as Hindi and Sanskrit. They are now supported by InDesign under the World Ready Composer (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/indic-support.html). Would love to see these supported in Publisher too!

There also seems to be an issue with how Indic entry is handled. For example, this is how the Hindi Transliteration keyboard in Mac works for Apple Pages:

But this is how it works in Publisher:

Notice how it captures intermediate keystrokes and saves them, and the final text isn't correctly formatted.
