HenrikZ
Hi Joachim, The folder structure (C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries\da_DK\da_DK) is indeed what I tried earlier today before Walt suggested using the one shown in the video above here (C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries\da_DK\da_DK). It didn't work for me
Joachim_L
Maybe you should try the attached zip? da_DK.zip Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
HenrikZ
Thanks. Downloaded, unipped, substituted the old folder (with subfolder and files) with the folder with the files from you. Selected the new folder from within Publisher. Restartet. No change.
Joachim_L
The Additional dictionary folder path should read "C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries" and not "C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries\da_DK". HenrikZ
Wow!!! Having been focused on the Windows Finder path, I took for granted that I simply would have to point to that from within Publisher's preferences/ tools. And when you, Joachim, mentioned "The Additional dictionary folder" I simply took it as designating a folder within Windows Finder (and not that specific place within the Publisher's preferences/ tools). I have corrected it. The preferences/ tool now poin to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries. And it works! Thanks so much to Walt and Joachim! Exactly - Publisher will look for dictionary subfolders like "da_DK" INSIDE that folder - it is a root folder for dictionary subfolders. So with that path configured Publisher will look for subfolders like C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries\da_DK\da_DK as you found out now. Serif you should rename the label "Additional dictionaries folder", I think. HenrikZ 1 Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface."
