Doesn't

View > Hide All Guides (CTRL + SHIFT + W)

do what you want

Was this ever resolved? Looking for a quick way to hide all guides on Mac Os. (CTRL + SHIFT + W) still doesn't work for me…

I don't know, and can't check as I'm on Windows. But as this is a Publisher topic, there's also the Preview Mode button (windshield wiper) icon in the Toolbar you should be able to click.

Have you assigned this shortcut to "View > Show Guides" in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts?
It cannot "work" if it hasn't been assigned at all.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

Ctrl+Shift+W is most likely the toggle for Preview Mode, at least on Windows. On Mac the default may be Ctrl+W without the Shift.

The shortcut that is specific to Show Guides is Ctrl+; on Windows. Perhaps Cmd+; on Mac.

Yeah, I'm using ctrl-W for Preview Mode as well, but I don't remember if it was the default shortcut.

For "Show Guides" I've been using a custom shortcut since many years in all other design apps that support it: cmd-$ because "$" is a key on the Swiss keyboard layout, and it's rarely used anywhere.
(Interestingly, some apps don't accept the "$" character as a shortcut for some odd reasons, e.g. some audio editing apps, while in others like Logic Pro I'm using the $ key for "$tart Recording". Affinity can deal with the $ just fine though.)
