Navigator image not in sync/updating

I've just been doing some image editing and noticed that the Navigator image frequently stops updating/goes out of sync with the actual workspace. I haven't managed to pinpoint it yet, but it's doing it when two documents are open. If I switch to the other document the navigator redraws and then re-syncs, but it happens again shortly after.

I have been unable to replicate this issue exactly. Could you provide a recipe for this? I can then pass this over to the development team for further investigation.
