VectorCat
anyone know why? Edit: my documents have several to lots of shapes, texts, lines in them. Obviously you have to have something to snap to before you can have a snapping candidate. I wanted to clarify that, as far as I can tell, I have enough stuff in my document that something should qualify as a snapping candidate. VectorCat
Every one, except for “show snapping candidates.”
DM1
Have you turned on snapping? Magnet symbol bottom left of screen, should have a blue circle around it when on. VectorCat
Magnet has blue circle; with 2 or more objects in a document, moving one makes no visual change in the other; snapping turned on. I do see grid highlights, red and green, showing that I’m zeroing in on vertical and horizontal. That’s helpful. But I use show snapping candidates on the Mac version, and it’s pretty obvious, as I recall.. thank you. Affinity’s products along with those of another smallish developer, also not in the states, have restored my faith in computering. You guys are showing how it’s done. DM1
There seem to be a lot of setting options associated with snapping. As well as red and green lines there are yellow and purple nodes too. Which ones show may be determine by initial settings. Maybe this helps.... Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
