dcbruns
Help! I'm having the same problem as a prior posting of the above topic. You say that it is "fixed" and will be available in the next update. But that update isn't here, so it's not fixed for me. When will this update land? Is there a known workaround? Do you know the size/distance that the image is shifted in the eps export so I can overcompensate? Please advise ASAP! Hokusai
dcbruns, Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I tried it and was able to export an EPS file successfully using the latest Affinity Designer beta with no cropping and no problems. Have you tried the beta yet? If not, give it a try and see if it works better. The only thing is if you do use the beta, you won't be able to go back to the App Store version, so make a copy! As well, do you have to use EPS? I have used many PDF files from Affinity Designer with no problems and most places will accept PDF files in place of EPS with no problems (not all places but most). I hope that you are able to solve your problem.
Staff MEB Posted March 12, 2015 Staff Share Posted March 12, 2015 Hi dcbruns, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) That bug was already fixed in the Beta. The Mac App Store version should be updated in a couple weeks. As Hokusai already said If you want to give the beta a try you can get it from here. Just remember to keep your MAS version installed (so you can run the Beta without time restrictions) and that files created or saved with the Beta cannot be opened in the MAS version until its next update.
