juliang
In both 'Initial tone Shaping' and 'Creating a Moody Sky' you are invited to make a selection and then deselect it before applying either the Saturation shift or the change in clarity. Surely as there is then no area selected the changes will apply to the whole image? Or does the absence of the marquee not indicate that the areas have been deselected? Staff Gabe Posted August 24, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 24, 2018 Hi @juliang, Welcome to the forums. You're missing out a step here. "Initial tone Shaping" - Step 6 - Make the selection, Step 7 - With that selection active, apply the adjustment, Step 8. Deselect. "Create a Moody Sky" - Step 3 - Make the selection, Step 4 - Add Clarity, Step 5 - Deselect. Thanks, Gabe.
