How to „bend“ a graphic text

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

Can anyone please tell me, how to bend a graphic-text in affinty photo for iPad pro ? i‘m designing a logo and i want a text ( the name of the company ) as a circel around the logo, like in the starbucks logo, but i don’t find a way or a tool to do that. So is possible to do that, like in affinty photo for pc or do i need to use a different program?

Hi Christopher and Welcome to the Forums,

You would have to use the Mesh Warp Filter to shape the text, as Affinity Photo can't make text follow a path.  Affinity Designer can make text on a path so would be very easy to get text to follow a circle shape.

How are you trying to import the text, Christopher? You should be able to open the file in a text editor, copy the text to the clipboard and then paste it at the text cursor in an Artistic Text layer.
