Hexara
Hello there, I own the PC version and I'm really happy with it and was planning to buy iPad version but currently I don't own one, I thought of buying a used one, iPad mini 1 or iPad mini 2, will it work fine? I searched everywhere for a complete list of supported devices but all I found was "Requires iOS 11.0 or higher" on app store, and as far as I know the iPad mini 1 and iPad mini 2 support iOS 11.
Paul Mudditt
Ideally buy an iPad Pro, but here is the Serif compatibility list, don’t stray from the list it would be an expensive mistake. raywalston
I think the minimum screen size needed is 9.7.

That’s what I use but it needs to be a very recent iPad or a Pro model, the iPad’s originally mentioned will not work. Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools…. The above list is missing the 6th generation iPad (9.7" non-Pro, but supporting Apple Pencil) released in March 2018. The earliest supported model is iPad Air 2, released in October 2014. Hexara
So, I'm all good if I go with the iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi only 16 GB?
Paul Mudditt
I’d buy the best you can afford, John Ruskin comes to mind, “It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. Alfred
The Affinity apps run OK on my iPad Air 2, but I’m glad I went for the 64 GB model. I’ve filled up half of that space in less than a year. Paul Mudditt
It’s so much better with Apple Pencil, but hey everyone has to start somewhere and it is perfectly usable with your fingers too. I mostly use my fingers, but I do have a third-party stylus that I use occasionally. TerryWills
Knowing the difference of iPad generation is always my first step before buying. No matter you are considering to get a used iPad Mini or others iPad models, you can read some reviews and comparisons first.
