Another question on Sharpening

I took the plunge and added Affinity onto my iPad I asked the question about selective sharpening in this version don't think i explained very well.On my mac version you can target a specific area to sharpen . What this means is my background doesn't get noisy is this possible on the iPad .

Unlike the desktop version, Affinity Photo for iPad has a separate Selections persona. That aside, the method should be similar.

Hi Black Wolf,

You can use the tools in the Selections persona to select/define the area. Then switch back to the Photo persona and apply one of the Sharpen Filters and it will only affect the selected region. Another option would be to use the Sharpen Brush instead, this allow you to brush over an area, it saves making the selection first.
