So I have these Vector styles I'm wanting to make. Supposedly it's worked on other things I've done but I can't figure out why it's not working now it only either does the outline or a whole fill category? I do have a pattern that was successfully with hashes but I can't figure out HOW I got that to work. It was from a pattern I had found on my Adobe Stock for Illustrator.

And that shows like it's a curve...

So I guess what I need to do is maybe make a brush with what I want, place the brush and have it be in the "Fill" area and then make the style?

I'd suppose you made a bitmap from various strokes of whatever kind of Adobe format brushes, and then used that as a fill in an Affinity style.  If you take an Affinity vector brush, and use it to stroke a vector shape, and turn that into a style, then you get a "brushed" outline, not a fill.

Hmm, I will give that a shot I actually exported these as ESP so they are in Vector style. And are a Curve so I'm not sure.

I knew you were going to use that file format :D

Ahhhhhh the pitfalls of being a noobie. Haha! Well what would you guys suggest in the end to do? I don't mind a BIT of blur but to be honest stippling is a pain in my butt. So what I've been doing is I have a vector page of NOTHING but patterns that won't blur and I've just been repeating and filling them in the space. Would that work the best?

Creating a Bitmap Fill is pretty straight forward, I made a few and saved the file with history so you can scrub back and forth in the history panel to see what I did, I've also attached a few styles that go with the file.

No, the banter about predictability wasn’t to do with your being a noobie per se. It was just that instead of writing ‘EPS’ (the abbreviation for Encapsulated PostScript) you had written ‘ESP’, which usually stands for ‘extrasensory perception’. :)
