iMac1943
how can I do this in AD? Thanks all for helping me. Luc
Staff MEB Posted August 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2018 Hi iMac1943, There's no way to do that type of distortion in Designer other than adjusting the nodes of each letter manually to "build up" the effect/distortion manually. Affinity Photo does have a Mesh Warp Tool (raster based) that allows to create that type of distortion. Hopefully Designer will have one in a future version (it's already on Designer's roadmap). iMac1943
thank you MEB. Can you give me more info about the Mesh Warp Tool? Where to find?
Staff MEB Posted August 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2018 Hi IMac, The tool belongs to the same group as the Perspective tool in Affinity Photo (see screenshot below): To use it, select a layer/object, change to the Mesh Warp Tool and drag the nodes (and handles) as you see fit. To add more nodes (for greater control) double-click inside the mesh area. Here's a quick example: Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
iMac1943
Ah, OK, in Affinity Photo, not in Designer. I'll try it. Thank you!!!
