By that I mean: Start with two images, one on the left and one on the right. They meet in the middle. Perhaps they are on separate layers. Initially, there will be a sharp transition line where they meet. I would like to blend the transition so that it looks like a smooth transition. Thanks. You only need to mask the top image, making it go from 100% opaque to 100% transparent (i.e. 0% opaque). You’re just making the edges semitransparent, so it doesn’t actually matter if there’s nothing underneath.
