Or rather, you can work it out by dividing the product of the Height and Width values by one million. Strictly speaking, you should divide by 2^20, which is slightly more than one million (so 6016 * 4016 = 24160256 = 23.04 MP), but it’s standard practice for camera manufacturers to use the smaller divisor, presumably to make their specs look better!
