hi 

recently I have tried to make my own vector brushes . 

and I have met a problem . 

here is my settings . 

I want to make a brushes like needle pen . 

and when I use it , most of time , it shows like a needle pen ,

but sometimes it suddenly becomes very wide ,

and it appears without regularity . 

just as it show in the lower right corner of the picture .

 

can anyone help me ?

I have tried  and find that the pressure setting really have an influence on the mistake . 

and  the velocity is better .

Hi, silence,

I too am working w. making brushes. Its not so easy. 

I notice that your tail offset is large. AFAIK, the the head and tail are not much influenced by the size and opacity changes. I'll suggest you make the head and tail much smaller. It seems to me that the head and tail get smoothed into the rest of the stroke if they are just a small bit.
