Which OS are you using? 2) The Tool UI Size setting in preferences only change the size of the controls on canvas (the circles on the bounding boxes, the control handles and nodes on paths etc). It doesn't change the size of the icons on the interface. Staff MEB Posted March 6, 2015 Staff Share Posted March 6, 2015 Yes, when you mouse over the Pen Tool for example, a tool tip (the yellow rectangle) should appear with the name of the tool. It takes a few seconds to appear. You can change the time delay in File -> Preferences, User Interface tab, almost on the bottom: the Tooltip Delay slider.
