Thanks for feedback. It could be great to have opportunity to break text to curves. As typeface designer I usually have the same font or very similar font in my portfolio (talking about comic book lettering fonts) so I am able to use it. Otherwise I will have to ask for the font my client which is not always possible to get it. OR retype the text and do all lettering again.

Can’t you ‘Convert to paths’ in Canvas X, export from there (to PDF or SVG, or whatever) and then open the result in one of the Affinity apps? :/

Well, theoretically yes, but I use Canvas X in my regular full-time job in automotive industry, not for comic book lettering (that is just my part time job) so it could potentially legal issue.
