carl123 Posted July 29, 2018 Share Posted July 29, 2018 I initially thought you had replaced the sky in your image but looking closer it looks the same sky, just "processed" So I'm not sure what you mean by "selections/refine/masking" If you want to practice "selections/refine/masking" try adding new backgrounds/elements to the original image to make it more different. ianrb Posted July 30, 2018 Author Share Posted July 30, 2018 Sorry; but that stuffed a good photo I'm a bit over this "gotta replace sky" editing thing I could have done it all, and more in Lr5; however I need to practise with Affinity so tools and so forth become second nature as lightroom/pse and others are to me. The weirdest thing so far has to be no stroke tool apart from 'outline' --- but it seems OK once I'm used to it . Not being able to lock in inches is annoying ; but again I'm getting used to it.
