How can I scale/transform an image layer in Affinity Photo (iPad)?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

How can I scale/transform an image layer in Affinity Photo (iPad)?

I'm trying to get to grips with the Affinity suite on the iPad (Photo and Designer) and cannot seem to find anything related to a relatively basic feature such as transforming an image layer on iPad. Found something for the desktop version but it does not seem to apply to the iPad interface.

HI @MilitaryRaiden ,

You select the layer in the layer studio, select the move tool and you can move, rotate and resize the layer.

Thanks,

Gabe.

That is the problem though: I do that and I can indeed move and rotate the image - cannot resize/scale it though. Funny thing is that I can do this on Affinity Designer but not in Photo. Is it a bug?

Got it, @GabrielM - it wasn't really responsive to touch but worked much better with the Apple Pencil. I'm slowly getting to grips with the apps and with Affinity's interface - thanks for the replies and the help of the Serif community too :)
