FarFromSane
I'm using Starrylandscape stacker to create some Astrophoto shots. One of it's functions is to separate background from the sky/stars. It will output two files ... one TIFF of the final result and another TIFF of the mask it uses. The intent is to load both into a program like Affinity and re-use the mask. How would I load that mask file in AP? I have attached an example. (horrible shots, but it gets the concept across) Thanks in advance P5170008-Min-mask.tif P5170008-Min.tif
jbartley
Look at this post to see how to get the mask as a selection: Once you have the selection you can save the selection out to a file. Top menu bar: Select-> Save Selection -> To File.... You can use that saved selection file to load into the other tiff. Top menu bar: Select -> Load Selection From File....
