Change "stroke" and "fill" XML

Recommended Posts

Hello,

right now if I export an SVG file with Affinity Designer "stroke" and "fill" in the XML file look like this

  • fill:rgb(204,204,204)
  • stroke:black

but I really need them to use HEX colors, so like this

  • fill:#CCCCCC
  • stroke:#FFFFFF

Is there a way to change this somehow? It is really important for me, manually changing every XML file would require too much time.

Thank you!

Ok thank you very much for the fast reply!

I am using the version in Italian, but I would say there is a small translation "error". It says "Usa colori es", but I have never heard someone using "es" as an abbreviation for "esadecimale". I would either use the whole word [there is enough space] or the English abbreviation "HEX" that I think is way wore common. Same thing for the color panel, here you even use another different abbreviation:  RGB "Esa".

One last question: if I am editing a pre-existent SVG file, am I really forced to click "export", then choose export mode, then choose the location, then overwrite the file, then click "don't save" when exiting AD? Is there a quicker way to simply edit an SVG file without having to export a new file? For example on Illustrator I would just click save and then it would automatically overwrite the svg file without being prompted to create a new .ai file or exporting it again.

Thank you again
