How can I change some pixels of a jpg file?

Recommended Posts

I'm importing a jpg file with a white background. I want to change all the white pixels to black pixels without changing any other pixels. More generally, I'd like to change pixels of any specific color to pixels of any other specific color without affecting other pixels. Does anyone know how to do this with affinity?

Thank you!

Martin J

Hi Martin J and Welcome to the Forums,

For more general changing of colour, see this post:

The image with the white background, if there isn't any white in the main subject you can use Filters>Colours>Erase White Paper.  Then using the rectangle shape, draw that out and fill with the required colour and move the rectangle below the main image layer in the Layers Panel.  If Erase white paper removes some white from the main image, then use the selection brush or tools to select the white background, delete it and then use the filled rectangle for the new background colour.

I'm sure if anyone else has any other method of doing this, i'm sure they will post :)
