Hennie P
I've moved over from photoshop to affinity photo. I want to be able to open multiple raw photos at a time, and then edit them in the raw editing screen. On photoshop I was able to open 8 photos for example, in a matter of seconds, and then edit each one. Then I could select all 8 and save them directly as jpegs, without opening them as individual windows in photoshop. Any that I wanted to edit further, I can then open fully. Having tried this in affinity photo, I have noticed two things that are causing problems. Firstly, raw photos take a long time to open. Secondly, there is no way to save from the raw editing screen, I have to open up each image fully and then save out individually. Is there any way to get raw files to open quicker, and can I save them in multiples (without batch editing)? Thanks
Staff Gabe Posted July 22, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 22, 2018 Hi @Hennie P, Welcome to the forums. The only way to edit raw photos without developing them would be with the Batch job. Any raw files have to go through the "Develop Persona" before any other adjustments. Thanks, Gabe.

Staff Gabe Posted July 23, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 23, 2018 It might change further down the line, but we have no ETA for this.I will move this to our feature request section.
