CarlB
Is there a way to change the brush sizes in the Develop persona? I have looked and tried to use all the brush resize explanations I have found, they must be only for the Photo Persona. I am trying to do an overlay and need to make the brush size smaller to fit between some trees to tone down the bright sky behind them. I would like to do this on the RAW file before moving it to the Photo Persona. Thanks
CarlB
Never mind, I was watching your video on creating a composition and there it was. Square Brackets for the win.
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted March 3, 2015 Staff Share Posted March 3, 2015 I think we will also end up with the Ctrl+Alt+Drag sweetness from the brush tools in the main Photo Persona too.. Thanks, Andy. Pedro Soares
ronnyb
Andy, it would be REALLY beneficial to have larger sized brushes available (2048 x 2048 or 4096 x 4096), perhaps not brushes with custom nozzles because of the potential performance issue, but hopefully the basic adjustable round/soft brushes. When creating large format graphics for events (10 to 30 meters @ 150dpi), I find it quicker and more efficient to do the final, subtle, detailed color moves at the end of the process, once the file has been finalized in terms of output size and flattening. I typically will do dodging and burning, vignetting, and even subtle curves and other moves per sharpening, of course (I can't wait for your non-destructive/interactive filters!!) Thanks for everything you do, every day I enjoy using the Affinity products more and more! I think we will also end up with the Ctrl+Alt+Drag sweetness from the brush tools in the main Photo Persona too.. verdekiwi
uhmmmmmmm i'm having trouble with this on mac. talking about brush in develop persona: how to change size? how to change color? (i can't reverse a brush!!) how to change softness, opacity, etc? still thinking the develop persona should be fully integrated in photo persona, otherwise makes no difference from using photoshop and camera raw. To change brush size : [ key smaller ] key larger Changing softness and opacity is a requested feature that has been accepted but not implemented yet. Changing color not sure maybe look in feature requests and if it is not listed there put in a request.
ronnyb
Any info on this? Is this something we can expect to come down the pipeline at some point?
