Objekt in Auswahl umwandeln?

In anderen Programmen kann man mit einem Klick parametrische (Kreis, Rechteck etc)  Objekte in eine Auswahl umwandeln, irgendwie finde ich den Befehl bei Affinity nicht.. Übersehe ich etwas?

Das ist ein englisches Forum - AUSNAMHSWEISE auf deutsch: Mit cmd-taste (bei windows Strg????)  auf das Ebenen-icon klicken, dann ist der Inhalt, nicht der Ebenen-Rahmen ausgewählt. Funzt auch bei Pixellayern. 

Mit der Auswahl kannste dann ne Maske generieren, oder eben einen anderen Layer "zurechtschneiden"....

sorry, while searching the forum I stumbled across some German entries, I didn't know that this is an English only forum.

Thanks for the tip, I've been looking for it forever!
Is there also a command in a menu to or just the Schortcut?
