Dan Mack
Hi, I have a logo that has some solid elements, but also some elements that have a 50% opacity. I've tried exporting as an eps in a number of different ways but every time I import the eps in to photoshop the semi transparent elements become a solid colour. Can anybody help, it's driving me insane! :-) Basically I need a semi transparent logo. Hope somebody can help me. Many thanks.
Dan Mack
I think I may have just answered my own question, am I correct in thinking that the .eps file format does not support transparency?
Staff MEB Posted July 19, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2018 Hi Dan Mack, Welcome to Affinity Forums The EPS format doesn't support any kind of transparency. Illustrator is only able to do it because Adobe embeds the Ai file inside the EPS which is what it uses to load the file/keep it full editable. Thanks MEB, it seems that exporting as PDF works perfectly. Thanks for your help :-)
