Export slices to SVG

While you're on it, could you add PDF too, please?

One of my usage cases is that I do have a couple of logo variations for a client (e.g. black and white, CMYK, RGB and grayscale or with and without marketing claim) on one big sheet. If I could export all those logos (as slices) at once, that'd be a MASSIVE time saver compared to exporting them one by one and renaming the files manually.

The lack of SVG export prevents me from using AD.

Exporting slices as SVG will enable AD to be used for creating vector/icon fonts. I am currently using iDraw to export hundreds of icons to SVG files and then icomoon.io to create font files and supporting css.  These can easily be used on Web pages and in Applications and simplifies asset management providing fully scalable and modifiable art.

Icon Fonts are very popular and extremely useful for web/app designers.

The first step is per icon SVG export. Apple recommends using PDF for some icons as well.

A Font Designer Persona would be a next step.

Hi can someone explain how to export slices to SVG?

Here is what I am trying:

I have a bunch of slices > I go to Export Options panel and select SVG (for web) > Then I select all my slices (checkboxes) and press the button called "Export Selected" ... it then generates a bunch of .png files.

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help. I'm using AD 1.4.2.
