Otacon
Hi there, I'm new to Affinity Photo and try to figure out how things work. But one thing I couldn't figure out is, how I can get rid of a style. Once you select a style it gets applied but all you can do is select a different style. Is there an easy way to remove a style?

Hey! I wish I knew the correct procedure to do that as well. What I do is hit UNDO in the edit section, it's the only method I know works. I'm sure some tech-head in here will supply an answer, then we'll both be the wiser. Otacon 1 Quote Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote. firstdefence
Best way is to create a "standard/default" Style, like mid grey fill and a .25 black stroke and use that as your "default Style" also make sure there are no fx set by checking the layers panel and if set turn them all off, also while in the fx panel make sure opacity is set to 100% this is in the bottom right corner of the fx Panel, this way you always have a simple style to go back to. It is not easy way, but click on "fx" in layer stack, and remove/uncheck all settings. Edit > Defaults > Revert. Bear in mind that you can save almost any style you want as a default style (Edit > Defaults > Save), so if you used it to save something odd, that is what you will get.
