Richard S.
Hi everyone, In Photoshop I change the blending options of layer 2, in order to deselect the green and blue channels, leaving just the red. In layer 3, I deselect the red, and leave just the green and blue channels selected. Could someone please explain how I achieve this in Affinity Photo for iPad, as I cannot seem to find out how to deselect 1 or 2 channels from a layer. Thank you all in advance. Staff Gabe Posted July 18, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 18, 2018 Hi @DesignMeister, Channels visibility can be disabled per document, not per layer. Have a look here Channels Channels Channels for Alpha Masking Channels: Creating/Storing Selections Editing Single Channels Channels: Greyscale Blending Channel Packing Thanks, Gabe. Richard S.
No channel disabling per layer???? Guess I’ll have to stay with Photoshop. Thank you anyway, appreciated. Quote High-End Photographic Prints
TooManyDemons
Damn, I was researching a better workflow for channel packing and stumbled upon this. I don't suppose per-layer channel work is planned in the future? It would be especially useful for texture artists. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out how to do this. Looks like it's possible after all. Cheers!
