danklim Posted July 18, 2018 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Hi, I want to make the background of my canvas transparent, so that i can draw on it and screen capture it into a VJ video app and overlay the drawing on top of other video. I think that this is also called alpha channel but not sure. I was doing this previously with a green background and chroma key effect but this seems like a less CPU intensive option. BobsDaubs Posted July 18, 2018 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Hi danklim, Try this. Go to File>New When the dialog box opens make sure to tick the box for Transparent Background. The file will then have a transparent background.
