Adding Noise To Fill?

Recommended Posts

When I use the Color Studio and add noise to the color using the slider to choose the amount of noise and then use the Fill tool to fill the background layer, it only applies the color and not the nose that I added in the Color Studio options. How can I get it to fill with noise? ^_^

Thank you.

I see the same here. As a workaround, add a Fill layer instead of flood-filling a Pixel layer: you can then rasterize it if necessary, and the noise will remain when you do so.

Thank you very much, Alfred.

I was playing around with it and found that out. :)

Would you know the benefits of rasterizing a layer? (I don't like reading manuals and usually just try this out till I discover how it works - or unless I get too frustrated) :o I guess I SHOULD read it! :3_grin:

There are some things you can only do with a Pixel layer, but I don’t know if there’s a comprehensive list anywhere. I guess you’ll find out if you try something and it doesn’t work!
