unable to view RW2 photos

I am unable to edit rw2 format photos they show up as a large grainy pink messes of nothing for me. i can view the thumbnail before  opening but that is it. does affinity not support rw2 format?

Hi sbeimer,

You can view our compatible RAW list here, the Panasonic Lumix GH5 isn't currently listed. Once our developers do a RAW update it will hopefully be supported.

Of course it is regrettable, the RW2 format is not yet supported.
But, you can file the RW2 in the DNG format convert.  click here

It's a shame that this format is still not supported. The GH5 is one of the most famous cameras ever.

I would very much appreciate it if the developer could add the RW2 format of Panasonic Lumix GH6 (along with GH5). Thank you for your attention to this matter in advance.

I doubt that Affinity Photo, or any other software that uses LibRaw, will have support for the GH6 anytime soon.  Adobe's DNG converter now supports the GH6 so that's probably your best option at the moment.

Wäre höchste Zeit das wir die rw2 Dateien ohne DNG Converter öffnen könnten!

Sonst werde ich Affinity Photo löschen und umsteigen!!!!

Serif hat hier nur geringen Einfluss auf die Objektiv-Datenbanken. Du kannst aber aktiv mithelfen, in dem du dem LensFun Team Beispieldateien zur Verfügung stellst.

But this would be about LibRAW, not LensFun, wouldn't it? 

The answer is somewhat the same, in that Serif has no control.
