JON GRC
Just purchased Affinity for Windows and it says it comes with a free Macro Pack. I can't find any details of this pack and what it does or how to install it.

When buying our software from the Windows Store the free content cannot be bundled as it is from our Affinity Store. In the Welcome screen that shows when the program starts there is a link to claim the free Macro Pack (the Windows store version has this link) . Clicking on that image in the Welcome screen will add this download to an Affinity Store basket, and you can then add it to your existing Store account. JON GRC
Hi Patrick Sorry, I didn't make myself clear in my earlier post. I figured hatbit out, downloaded the pack and extracted the zip file. The problem comes when I try to import it. I have opened the Macros window in Studio, but when I click on the import icon, far right, nothing happens. No import or dialogue box opens. Staff Patrick Connor Posted July 16, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 16, 2018 The zip file needs extracting onto your computer, as It contains 3 .afmacros files. It also contains instructions called QuickStart_Guide.pdf (also attached) . The Macros are imported into the Library Panel as explained in the PDF QuickStart_Guide.pdf Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! JON GRC
Thanks. Being the clot I am, I of course didn't read the guide! What I still don't understand is why this goes into the Library panel and not the Macro panel. Minor point, wouldn't worry about it. Thanks for your help. Staff MEB Posted July 16, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 16, 2018 Hi JON GRC, Welcome to Affinity Forums .afmacros files (note the S at the end) are a set of macros and as such should be imported (and applied) from the Library panel. An .afmacro file (without the S at the end) is a set of steps of a single action/macro and should be imported from the Macros panel.
