davorin
As a long time user of Illustrator (since 88 / 1.1 ;o) I very like the path tool of it...especially when you place a bitmap as a template/background to be redrawn manually. The path tool in Designer is similar, but not equal...for example: If you placed a bezier point both handles are symmetrical...clicking and drag again in the path point you can set the outgoing bezier point, which is still in line as the ingoing bezier, but with a different distance.. In designer you can't change the handle like this...you can click/drag in the point, but the bezier handles stay symmetrical in vector length.. The option-key drag is the exact behaviour like in Illustrator...

davorin
That has the only effect to have the bezier handle in 45 degree steps orientation...

davorin
The same is true for Illustrator...but with drag-and-click Illustrator is faster and more intuitive drawing paths (o; Wish this simple feature would be included as well as option-click and drag was implemented ;-) OTOH: Can't beat the price (o;
