ChenJing Posted July 5, 2018 Share Posted July 5, 2018 hi, recently I have find a video in youtube, it shows so beautiful patterns made with the pattern options panel in adobe illustrator . and it can made a pattern that can be added in the swatched panel . that can be a very useful technique in design . and I like it very much . so I tried in affinity designer . however, I just have to repeat the symbols again and again . can you develop this parts , or is there any better ways to achieve to the final results in the video ? Hi Silence, I don't know if this tutorial will be of any help, but it's a way to create a seamless pattern in Designer, which help you replicating the tutorial you linked to. As we don't have the Pattern Options that AI does, you will have to do it manually but could also make use of Symbols to help designer the pattern.
