resunoiz
I have some text and drawing elements with a white border. I want to apply OER that border another border, for example a black one. In Illustrator I used "vectorialize border" so i could apply the second border to the traced one. Affinity does not have any border tracing option so I can't understand how I can achieve it. I DON'T use level effects because when I export the drawing, the text/element is rasterized and doesn't remain vectiorial (one of the poorest functionality of the program). Staff MEB Posted July 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2018 Hi resunoiz, You can expand (vectorise) the stroke so it becomes a shape to which you can then add another stroke to (menu Layer ▸ Expand Stroke). For text objects you will have to convert them to curves first (menu Layer ▸ Convert to Curves). Staff MEB Posted July 6, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 6, 2018 Yes, Affinity Photo doesn't have those commands. It's geared towards RAW conversion/developing and photo editing. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
