New Trial User -Already Messed Up 4 hours Of Work

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I am an soon to be an Adobe convert after using it from almost it's beginning, I am loving Affinity!

I am using the trial of Affinity Photo and went to export my design to cut on a plotter and *BOOM* I hit the wrong export link - I hit Export in Designer but my Designer Trial has expired so it just shut down, I went back to Affinity Photo and ALL my work was gone...

Is there a way I can restore what I worked on for 4 hours or am I going to have to start over?

Thanks in Advance for your help!

The "Edit in Designer" and "Edit in Photo" options have occasionally failed for me to the point that I now always save the file first before using them.

If your autosave is set on you may want to look in the autosave folders for both Photo and Designer to see if there is anything in them (preferably before closing photo)

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hi AJDesignerVA,

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you this happened to me a few days ago and I have been pushing to add a auto save to this since hopefully I will have good news soon.

Thanks

Callum
