there is a reply in one of the groups (I forgot where and who posted it) which recommends to convert CR3 into PNG through Adobe software. Since I download my cr3 files in Lightroom I may import them as png without any problem. And may use them in Affinity, ON1 and Aurora (all of them don't support actually the cr3 Canon format). I checked and - indeed - it works. There is hope for all M50 owners :D.
Thanks a lot to the fellow who suggested using PNG.
