So i've taken quite a few pictures with my camera ready to be stitched into nice panoramas.

Except, I cannot drag and drop the files from windows explorer into the New Panorama window of AP.

Have I missed a setting or is this simply not possible?

It's a bit tedious to search through thousands of photos to find the series i want to stitch.

Any Ideas?

In a recent post on loading files for HDR @owenr said:

"You can't drag from C1 directly into the HDR merge files list, but if you click Add at the bottom of the list, then a file open dialog appears, into which you can drag the raws from C1 and then click Open, and that places the raws into the dialog"

I'm wondering why you change the word "list" to "dialog" at the end of the quote. Feel free to quote a statement by me, but please post the exact words if you surround them with quote marks. Thanks.

Apologies. I was trying to copy part of your message from one message to another on a tablet. I thought I had copied the entire sentence, but later discovered the end was missing. Rather than back-track many steps, I guessed, and guessed wrong!
