In Photoshop when you open an image you can duplicate the image so that you can compare changes made to each image.  Similarly in Aperture you can have different versions to compare different Develop settings.  Is this possible in Affinity Photo?

I rather like the Photo Develop Persona for that.

You can have a before and after view with a slider

before.jpg.2f6846a8268db48ce853b203e24c0d2d.jpg

or a split view with both before and after images side by side

mirror.jpg.f9a96711e83771ef2c60969aa8a4a75f.jpg

It is also possible to make a duplicate file and float the windows, with the two windows side by side.
