gregsquare
Most of the time I use Aff. Photo only for this Why can't you just add it to pixel Persona in Aff. Designer???
Staff MEB Posted June 22, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 22, 2018 Hi gregsquare, Welcome to Affinity Forums You can switch from Designer to Affinity Photo going to File ▸ Edit in Photo..., apply the live perspective filter there then use the same menu to return back to Affinity Designer. As soon as you have the live perspective filter in Affinity Designer you can simply double-click on it to adjust its parameters if needed. No need to go to Photo for further adjustments. The apps of the suite were designed to complement each other. Raster based perspective distortions are more useful on a photo editing app than on Designer where a tool like this should be used to distort objects/paths geometry in Draw Persona. The pixel Persona here is intended to be used just for basic image/photo editing (mostly to help manipulate/integrate images in a layout/design) and illustration (complementing the vector tools for raster shading/texturising etc). For regular/advanced photo editing Affinity Photo is the way to go. This integration and specialisation will become more obvious/natural as soon as Affinity Publisher is out.
